Five candidates were provisionally declared elected unopposed for the five available seats of executive committee of All Pakistan Textile Processing Mills Association (APTPMA) Faisalabad Region for the year 2015-16. Among these candidates include, Chaudhry Habib Ahmad Gujar (Zam Zam Textile), Muhammad Saeed Sheikh (Rasheed Fabrics), Muhammad Yaseen (Al Haram Textile), Syed Riasat Ali Shah (Syed Dying), Muhammad Dawood (Al Mumtaz Textile).
The newly elected office bearers have expressed concern over decreasing production in value added processing industry and demanded a progressive and supporting industrial policy to give support to this sector. They said that govt should resolve the protracted issue of energy crisis which is still haunting the industrial sector with its shortage as well as price hike.
