Uzbekistan and Tajikistan have advanced trade facilitation efforts along the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor, holding a bilateral technical meeting in Tashkent to operationalise the electronic exchange of certificates of origin. The meeting marked a key step in implementing the March 26 agreement enabling mutual recognition of digital trade documents.
Held at JSC Uzbekekspertiza with support from the International Trade Centre (ITC), the session focused on draft technical conditions for the exchange system, including data formats, transmission protocols and the roles of participating institutions.
